SMIL Timesheets is an ongoing project of the W3C consortium. Its goal is to define an XML timing language that makes timing control available to other XML languages.

The LimSee3 project explores ways of publishing multimedia documents in easily readable standard formats. Since XHTML is a widely accepted standard, we investigated the possibility to provide it with temporal semantics through SMIL Timesheets, to be able to publish standard multimedia documents readable in web browsers.

The actual interpretation of a Timesheet semantics in an XHTML document is ensured by a JavaScript library which is presented on the Scheduler page. In this document, we present the achievements on some examples.
