LimSee3 Help - On Media Libraries

Quick overview: What is a media library?

Media libraries in LimSee3 are tools that enable users to easily organize and exploit their media assets. A library is simply a view of a set of media files. Such a set can be used to build documents by copying or dragging medias from a library to a document instance. However, users can use other means of instantiating documents with medias; libraries are useful but not mandatory.

Libraries merely reference local or distant medias, so that they are very cheap in disc space. They use relative addressing whenever possible.
